Things to consider..

When you grow up and move out of mommy and daddy’s house, you need to realize that you have to take care of yourself now. This requires you to do certain things.

1. Clean the toilet

2. Clean up after your pets

3. Take out the trash

4. Not letting the trash over flow

5. Cleaning the dishes

6. Cleaning the sink

7. Vaccuming/sweeping/mopping

It also requires you to remember the few important things mommy and daddy taught you.

1. Being respectful of others

2. Not being loud at obnoxious times. (ie. 8 am or after 11 pm)

Grow the fuck up.

Break Your Mirrors

In our society that’s so self-absorbed, begin to look less at yourself and more at each other! You’ll get more satisfaction from having improved your neighborhood, your town, your state, your country, and your fellow human beings than you’ll ever get from your figure, your car, your house, or your credit rating.

What most people need to learn in life is how to love people and use things instead of using people and loving things.

To dream of the person you wish to be is to waste the person you are.

Life isn’t all about you and making yourself happy. Everything is more rewarding when you make others happy. Never miss an opportunity to make others happy, even if you have to leave them alone in order to do it.

Remember, friends are the best thing you can ever have.
A friend knows the song of my heart and sings it to me when my memory fails. This kind of friendship is so hard to come by.

When we walk to the edge of all the light we have and take the step into the darkness of the unknown, we must believe that one of two things will happen.
There will be something solid for us to stand on or we will be taught to fly.

Of all forms of caution, caution in love is perhaps most fatal to true happiness.

Life isn’t so difficult

You wake up, go through your routine motions. Talk to people, act human and friendly. Spend time with people and grow new relationships while making old one stronger. Hang out, party, go to school, work, watch movies and always go home alone. And Wake up alone. Because after all, there’s no one in this world you can count on except yourself. And sometimes, even that is asking for too much.

Cool Factor

When I was 17 I used to hate people who would hold their alcohol up in their pictures. And they’d hold it up as if saying “Look, I’m cool. I’m not supposed to have this but I do and now everyone knows it!”

What bothers me even more is seeing people who are now 21 and sometimes older doing the exact same thing. It’s one thing to have it in the picture or to even be holding it. But when you’re clearly holding it up so that it’s noticed right away…grow up.

“I’m 21, so I’m going to drink all the time just because I can. I’m going to make sure there is always alcohol in the house.” Grow. Up.
